What a funny phrase? Usually used to point at the person we are attracted to but yet the phrase itself objectifies the person. The person becomes more like a thing which can be described by its superficial characteristics. Now, where did this phrase come from? Anyone know? So in the politically correct day and age of modern society, should it not be changed to The Person of My Affection?
